DESCRIPTION:SeniorCare presents “A Matter of Balance”\, an 8-week fall prevention workshop\, on Tuesdays\, Oct 6-Nov 24\, 2026\, 9:30-11:30am\, at the James Meaney Building (71 Middle St\, Gloucester).  “A Matter of Balance” is an 8-week free workshop focusing on educating and supporting older adults around falling and the fear of falling. \nMany older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A Matter of Balance fall prevention workshop is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. \nParticipants will learn to \n\nView falls as controllable\nSet goals for increasing activity\nMake changes to reduce the risk of falling\nExercise to increase strength and balance\n\nWho Should attend \n\nAnyone concerned about falls\nAnyone who has fallen in the past\nAnyone who has restricted activities because of falling\nAnyone interested in improving balance\, flexibility\, and strength\n\nFor information and to register\, call Abby Considine at 978-281-1750 x-581. \n
