Free Matinee: The Trouble with Harry

Free

Join SeniorCare and The Cabot for a free showing of The Trouble with Harry, the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock dark comedy starring John Forsythe, Shirley MacLaine, and Edmund Gwenn. The quirky but down-to-earth residents of the small hamlet of Highwater, Vermont, encounter the freshly dead body of Harry Worp, which has inconveniently appeared on the hillside above the town. The problem of who the deceased is, who was responsible for his sudden death, and what should be done with the body is “the trouble with Harry.”
The Cabot will open their doors at noon and offer a Bean Trust Coffee Bar with free tea and coffee to all attendees. Movie attendees are encouraged to come early for warm drinks and a chance to socialize with other classic movie lovers before the show. Coffee hour: 12-1pm. Movie begins at 1pm.
The Cabot’s Movies as Medicine invites our community to enjoy free classic films, one Monday each month, creating a space for comfort and connection. These screenings offer more than a great movie—they create moments that support well-being and belonging.
