Elder Abuse Awareness Rally – Gloucester

Join SeniorCare, local Councils on Aging and Police Departments this June for a community rally in honor of World Elder Abuse Awareness Month — a time to show our commitment to protecting older adults from neglect, abuse, and exploitation.
Tuesday, June 16, 2026
11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Fitz Henry Lane Parking lot (intersection of Harbor Loop & Rogers St)
Each year, millions of older adults experience some form of abuse. Raising awareness is the first step toward prevention. Together, we can shine a light on this often-hidden issue and take action to build safer, more supportive communities for people of all ages.
The rally will feature local advocates, informational resources, and opportunities to get involved. Wear purple to show your support for elder justice and bring your friends, neighbors, and coworkers — let’s make our voices heard!
💜 Let’s stand together to end elder abuse. Because every older adult deserves respect, safety, and dignity.
