Kathleen recently moved into a congregate housing unit, a shared living environment designed to integrate the housing and service needs of older residents. The goal of congregate housing is to increase self-sufficiency through the provision of supportive services in a residential setting.
Kathleen turned to SeniorCare to aid in her search for an affordable solution. After meeting with an Options Counselor to review the various programs and housing options available in the area, an economical solution was found—congregate housing.
Kathleen finds congregate living to be a comfortable and affordable option. She is now able to maintain an independent lifestyle while also enjoying communication with the other residents. She is a deeply spiritual person. She has indeed gone through tough situations, but she is now very grateful to the staff at SeniorCare for her current living situation.
