MassHealth has updated its eligibility guidelines for the Medicare Savings Program (MSP).
Previously, there was an asset limit that meant owning a home or having savings could impact a Medicare member’s MSP eligibility. As of March 1, 2024, MassHealth removed the asset limit. This change will allow more residents to take advantage of benefits and save money on health care costs.
