LEGAL NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
SeniorCare Inc. Area Agency on Aging requests proposals from qualified organizations to provide supportive services to older adults (age 60+) living in one or more of the following towns: Beverly, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Rockport, Topsfield, and Wenham through federal funds awarded under Title IIIB of the Older Americans Act. Funding is for FFY2024: October 1, 2023 – September 30, 2024; SeniorCare reserves the right to rollover grants for one additional year. Service priorities include legal services; transportation to medical appointments and/or other needed services; programs increasing social connections; outreach; and innovative programs promoting well-being and independence. Targeted populations include those aged 60 and older with particular attention to low income and minority elders and those with greater social need including isolated and/or marginalized elders; LGBTQ+ elders; elders with disabilities; and those who are disadvantaged by racial, cultural and/or linguistic barriers. All grants are subject to the availability of federal funding. Interested parties should obtain a Statement of Intent to apply for funding available on SeniorCare’s website.
Statements of Intent should be returned by 4:00 p.m., April 21, 2023; full proposal applications are due May 16, 2023.
