She Raises the Bar
Happy birthday to Lois Stillman of Gloucester who turned 87 years old a couple of weeks ago! Lois is a skilled artist in collage making, fabric art, painting, and doll-making. In a recent visit to her home, she shared some of her work which you can see in these photos. Love of the arts must run in the family as Lois’s uncle Jerome Elwell has his paintings displayed at the Cape Ann Museum.
For over ten years Lois has been attending the classes led by Kathleen Knoble, one of SeniorCare’s Care Managers. “Lois Stillman is one of my favorite people,” said Kathleen. “A real sweetheart! Every time she attends art class she raises the bar on the quality of the work that comes out of the class.”
