Message from the CEO

Mar 18, 2020

Dear Community Partners,

I hope all are doing as well as possible during these difficult times. I wish to inform you of a few things that you might find helpful.

  1. SeniorCare’s home delivered meals continue without interruption and there are no plans to stop this critically important service. We are offering emergency shelf stable meals as well as emergency frozen meals. We could benefit from more drivers. So, if you know of anyone (ie. college students, etc.) who would deliver meals, please contact our Nutrition Department at 978-281-1750.
  2. Our programs and services continue without interruption with the exception of service provided to in-person groups.
  3. Currently, our Beverly office at the Cummings Center is closed for the remainder of the week. Although our Gloucester office remains open, many of our staff are telecommuting. We are not accepting visitors at the present time.
  4. If you are receiving communications from elders, adults with disabilities or caregivers about concerns for a loved one or themselves, please refer them to SeniorCare at 978-281-1750.
  5. Like most in the state, we are experiencing a shortage of personal protection equipment (PPE) including gloves, masks and sanitizers. We have ordered more as I assume everyone has. But, the delivery will be delayed. We are trying to ensure that our drivers have access to these items.
  6. We remain in frequent contact with our partners at the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, MA Health, our Provider Network, our MA HC Association and others.

Please feel free to reach out to us when needed so that we can assist the elders in your communities to the best extent possible.

Be Safe,
Scott Trenti
CEO, SeniorCare Inc.
